The Ultimutt Bath includes a shampoo with quality products that are best suited for the breed, coat and condition of the dog, ear cleaning, nail trimming, blow dry and brush out. Some longer haired breeds will also have their pads and feet trimmed as well as a sanitary trim and a trim of the hair around their eyes & face, a general touch-up trim.
The Ultimutt Style gives you everything the bath has to offer plus a haircut or trim to the pet's body as well. For some breeds that may be a feather trim of all the longer hair that hangs down, or an all over breed specific cut or a puppy cut.
Our cat grooming includes a nail trim with every service. We can provide a brush out only, or a complete service of bathing, ear cleaning, and haircuts, as well. We try our absolute best, but it can be difficult to make a cat's haircut look perfect as their behavior sometimes prevents that, or coat, skin or weight conditions can make it difficult as well. We understand cats can be nervous and challenging, so we take the time to ensure they are comfortable and relaxed, and looking their best.
Our pricing structure is based on an hourly hands-on basis; therefore charges may fluctuate due to condition, requested haircut changes, and changes in size and behavior of the pet.
When calling us, we will give you an estimate of what we think the cost may be based on the average size & weight for that breed, assuming the coat is in good condition, and on the information you provide to us about your pet.
Every individual pet is different from the other, even within that same breed.
Mixed breeds are even harder to predict what they will cost. Differences in size, hair condition, hair length and behavior, also make it difficult to give a one price fits all.

If your pet has a major accident that requires us to stop working on other pets and disassemble crates to clean diarrhea/poop
If a pet is "loaded" with ticks, we have to stop our grooming process to safely remove each individual tick. This applies to dogs with 15+ ticks
Flea shampoo in addition to regular shampoo for pets that come in with fleas. We will not disregard this and send a pet home with fleas, and we need to protect other pets in the salon from a pet with fleas
Eliminates odor of most freshly skunked dogs with natural enzymes that break down the odor, not just cover it up, followed by odor eliminating shampoo and an odor eliminating spray, please keep in mind, no product is 100% guaranteed to remove ALL of the odor

The additional charges are because of the cost of more expensive products and/or the extra time/staff needed and/or the wear and tear on our equipment needed to properly care for your pet
